Rosolina Mare beach is located in the seaside resort of the same name in Veneto. Awarded the coveted Blue Flag by FEE Italy(Foundation for Environmental Education), it offers a long, narrow shoreline where free beaches alternate evenly with those given in concession to bathing establishments. The water of its sea invites long and pleasant swims and is famous for its width and fine sand.

Porto Caleri beach and the Botanical Garden

In Rosolina mare is The beach of Porto Caleri, hidden by the wonderful pine forest of the Coastal Botanical Garden protected by the Veneto Regional Park of the Po Delta. So many, in fact, are the species of flora and fauna that you can admire on your way to the beach on the characteristic raised wooden walkways.

The beach is wide, about six kilometers long, and composed of fine-grained light-colored sand. Another feature of this nature oasis is the presence of sand dunes that are shaped by the wind, offering a slightly different landscape from year to year.
The beach is easily accessible thanks to three footpaths that wind through the Coastal Botanical Garden and down to the sea. Porto Caleri is never too crowded, although it is a free beach, even in the summer months.

Chioggia and the lagoon

Just a few kilometers from Rosolina one is immersed in the unique reality of Chioggia, a splendid city on the unique Venetian lagoon. Surrounded by waterways and views of the seascape, Chioggia contemplates a combination of strengths: the old town, the fish market, the beach, and the navigation. It is here that tradition and contemporaneity meet, resulting in a destination that is always worth visiting. Divided in half by the historic Vena canal, the center offers a glimpse into the city’s past and the waters that characterize it: while visiting and strolling on the bridges, there is never a shortage of boats, accompanying residents in their activities and tourists with their charm.
Both from inside Chioggia and from the road to reach it, it is possible to see glimpses of the Venetian lagoon, the city’s hallmark: visitable thanks to organized excursions, it surrounds all of Chioggia, echoing its reputation as a maritime city.

The Po Delta

Rosolina is part, along with eight other neighboring municipalities, of the Po Delta Regional Park. The Delta, a junction where the Po River flows into the sea, is theonly one existing in Italy and contains priceless natural treasures that are typical of slow (slow) tourism: among unique natural environments, direct contact wildlife and lush nature, you certainly won’t be bored!
The activities you can do in the Delta are numerous: cycling, walking, birdwatching, hiking, all possibilities to explore and learn about this fantastic area rich in flora and fauna and get in touch with the history of the area. The sound of nature echoes strongly in all areas of the Delta, which will strike you with the captivating images it offers and the glimpses of Italy’s largest wetland.
